Hello readers, both new and old. What a strange month it’s been!
First and foremost, I’d like to thank everyone who picked up Alice in the Land of Clovers during Stuff your Kindle Day, the whole experience was wonderful for me and your comments have been very encouraging and enlightening.
With that in mind, I think what I really appreciated the most about this event was that it gave me a lot of chance to get feedback from readers and see why people pick me up, as well as begin to grow more in the New Adult sphere.
I knew that a lot of people really enjoyed Alice for its historical fantasy aspects as well as the numerous references, but it was different to see that appreciation reflected in numbers as well as numerous emails that have really gotten the point across to me and made me feel more confident in moving forward with the new adult sphere– which is really good because it’s been a while since we’ve had a full novel from me.
And a lot of readers in the past few months have made clear to me how much they would like a new full novel to come out versus a novella.
With that in mind, the Leshy’s Lover is being suspended fora bit while I finish up last minute edits on the Ivy and Ash release, and I wanted to take the time to talk about my projects and where I currently am in the process with each of them.
Ivy and Ash: Updated and Revised

If you know anything about the production of Ivy and Ash, you know that towards the end about half of the book was cut following an untimely death in the family.
That’s probably why when it comes to the rewrite, I’ve had a lot of questions about the length and changes.
To be flat out, a lot of chapters were outright changed in this revision, hundreds more pages were added, the historical context was put back in with on and off references to the period as well as dates being added, and so forth.
A lot of what I wanted to have in the original release of Ivy and Ash has been added back in, and it’s become more of the book that I had initially envisioned when writing it. At the time when Ivy and Ash initially released and there was so much going on in my personal life as well as the world, there was no way that I could reach the level of book that I had initially pictured. But now, with all these edits, additional chapters, and even some entirely new content created by me in the past few months, I feel that Ivy and Ash is closer to what it was meant to be.
With that in mind, I am taking ARC signups until the 16th right here, but do not have the expectation that most readers will manage to read it in ten days. It is a substantially longer book, and has essentially had a whole book and a half added onto it, as well as the majority of its original content revised.
The general content update will be made available to the public on the 27th, and marked by the cover change back to the original, which many readers have indicated to me that they prefer. So essentially if you see this cover–

The updated and revised edition is up.
Dead to Me (Working Title)
Please note, the majority of in progress works from me are referred to with working titles until listing are put up. This is because the world is horrible, marketing is hard, and the list of titles I have for this work in particular is very short so I’d hate to lose their google-ability.
This is my nanowrimo newsletter book coming out towards the end of November, which will also will have my processes walked through via nanowrimo newsletter (to launch at the end of October).
ARCs for this book should be available in the middle of November, with additional nano exclusive link available for nanowrimo newsletter subscribers to use to get the book just in case my ARCs run out again.
But of course, before anyone thinks about picking this book up, I should probably talk about what it’s about.
Dead to Me is my dark comedy inspired romance novel taking place during the Regency period/Pre-reconstruction in which an American socialite returns from her tour abroad when her father’s untimely death leads to funds drying up, and is expected to go through with the arranged marriage her father had set up prior to his death– an arranged marriage that she just so happened to have (optimistically) thought was called off, one to the son of a wealthy mortuary empire (who has no qualms getting his hands dirty).
The marriage, of course, feels like a curse to the American socialite, but with no other funds to her name, she is forced to accept with the understanding that, if anything were to happen to her husband, she would be the sole heir of his great fortune.
And thus, amongst a backdrop of magic, mystery, and madness; she comes to but one conclusion– she simply must murder her husband.
Easier said than done when said husband speaks to the dead.
The Phantom of the Mothra

This is a horrifying joke made real. I’m aiming for April with this.
Have you ever thought to yourself, “I wish I could read a mothman regency romance that is vaguely inspired by the Phantom of the Opera?”
If so, then pray that this project comes to fruition.
For the Love of the Gods/ a Portal Fantasy Narnia for Adults
Unsatisfied with how the first For the Love of the Gods turned out, I decided to hold back on releasing it and edit and combine the concept with a few others that I have been sitting on for a while to come out with a book that I am proud of.
A Peter Pan Retelling
I am uncertain whether or not to disclose how far along this book is in the publication process.
What I can say honestly is that I’ve visited this premise multiple times and revisited it time and time again, wanting to create a series that feels Alice adjacent and yet not.
With copyright law covering different parts of Peter Pan, however, I’ve had to be very very careful in this rewrite and move around the time period time and time again, rather than having it align with Alice the way that I initially wanted it to. Being sued is, after all, very hard for a girl.
Rest assured, however, it is in the process, and I am hard at work with multiple books in various stages of production on my desk.
Thank you, once again, for reading.
